Sierra Leone: Journalists Train On Media Ethics

Freetown — Over 20 journalists from both the print and electronic media have benefited from a two-day intensive training on media ethics, gender issues and professional values.

The training at the British Council Auditorium was organized by the Believers Broadcasting Network BBN in partnership with an international media organization, Media Project based in Washington DC. Chief Executive Officer of Media Project, Arne Fjeldstad advised journalists to refrain from collecting brown envelopes from personalities as the public depends on the media.
