THE local business community has been challenged to borrow a leaf from their Singaporean counterparts who are described as a study case for rapid development.
Records show that total trade between Tanzania and Singapore amounted to 410 million US dollars (about 697bn/-) in 2010 more than double the 2009 figure. However, imports from Singapore constituted 97 per cent while exports were close to 3 per cent.
