Kenya: 2,600 Tonnes of Gas Denied Entry Over Safety Fears

A consignment of cooking gas has been denied entry into the country after failing to meet Kenya Bureau of Standards (Kebs) safety benchmarks.

The 2,600 tonnes of liquid petroleum gas (LPG) shipped in by Kenya Shell was rejected on an initial review at Mombasa port, but the oil firm said it was investigating when the product was contaminated.
