Nigeria: NFF Declares War Against Football Reform Committee

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has declared war against the Dominic Oneya-led ministerial committee on the reform of football in Nigeria, saying it would no longer allow individuals under the pretence of being officials of the National Sports Commission (NSC) to disrupt the prevailing peace and harmony enjoyed by various ethnic groups in Nigeria through football.

The NFF board member, Johnson Effiong, who stated this in a chat with LEADERSHIP WEEKEND Sports, said some individuals who are not interested in the growth of football in the country, has consistently refused to align themselves with the football ruling body, instead prefer to operate in the realms of grand illusion and commotion cause.
