Nigeria: Mimiko Assures Corps Members of Safety

Akure — Ondo State Governor Olusegun Mimiko has assured members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) recently posted to the state of adequate security throughout their stay. Mimiko, who gave the assurance at the weekend at the swearing-in ceremony of the 2011 Batch 'C' corps members deployed to the state, said his administration would continue to protect the lives and property of corps members.

He charged the corps members to showcase their talents during their service year, saying, "If you showcase your talents, you would be encouraged to realize your dreams because my administration is determined to empower youths".
