Nigeria: More Women Oppose Fuel Subsidy Removal Than Men - Survey

An opinion poll on the proposed removal of fuel subsidy shows that 92 percent of female respondents opposed the subsidy removal against 82 percent male respondents.

The poll, conducted by Alliance for Credible Elections (ACE) and the Cleen Foundation, said a number of Nigerians were willing to accept the planned fuel subsidy removal on condition that the Federal Government would provide safety nets.
