Nigeria: UAE Grants 3 Years Employment Visas to 170 Ex-Militants

The government of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has granted three years employment visas to 170 ex-militants to undergo a six months vocational training in crane operations, pipeline welding and electrical installations.

They are also to be trained on health safety and environment at the International Centre for Non-Violence and Peace Development, a statement by the spokesman of the amnesty office, Mr. Henry Ugbolue said.
