Nigeria: Waziri - No Regrets Serving Country

Abuja — Former chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Mrs Farida Waziri, yesterday said she had taken her removal from office in good faith and had no regrets serving her fatherland even as she expressed gratitude to President Goodluck Jonathan for giving her the opportunity to serve his administration.

Waziri, who spoke in Makurdi, the Benue State capital, after receiving an honorary doctorate degree at the 11th and 12th combined convocation ceremonies of the Benue State University, said she was greatly relieved because she was leaving with all sense of honour and humility having made history as EFCC chairman.
