JUDGES tasked to handle election petitions have urged the office of the Attorney General to engage enough lawyers to handle the unprecedented petition cases to avoid delaying the proceedings.
Speaking at a consultative meeting with stakeholders at Inter Continental hotel yesterday, chairperson judge Jane Kabuka said the Attorney General's office had the right to engage private lawyers to assist in disposing off the unprecedented petitions within the stipulated period.
