Uganda: Charity Look to Halt Patidar Run

The 2011 National Cricket League officially ends in four weeks but it could be over as a contest after today. Patidar Samaj, are the unofficial champion-elects, but can confirm their status with an authoritative triumph over Charity Trust Fund Cricket Club (CTFCC) at Kyambogo University Oval.

The big-spending Patidar are atop the Division One log with 64 points, 16 more than second-placed Wanderers and it is hard to find any chinks in their armour. They are in an enviable zone with an unbeaten record after 11 outings and whereas their closest challengers Wanderers and Charity have shared no less than two forced spoils due to rain washed out matches, they haven't endured any mishap.
