Sierra Leone: UDM Commands Massive Support in Freetown

Newly registered political party, the United Democratic Movement (UDM), seems to be commanding a good number of electorates who are yet to decide which, among the two leading political parties All Peoples Congress APC and the opposition Sierra Leone Peoples Party SLPP, to vote next year.

This was demonstrated yesterday when over a thousand people including petty traders, market women and students from various tertiary institutions stormed the party office on Pademba Road in Freetown to seek for party membership card.
