Eritrea: Agricultural Experts Engaged in Planning and Information Technology Urged to Enhance Role

Barentu — Agricultural experts that are engaged in planning and information technology have been urged to enhance role in promotion reliable and timely information. The call was made by Mr. Meseret Gebremichael, head of the as Ministry of Agriculture branch office in Gash-Barka region.

He pointed out that training only helps to initiate and reinforce the determinant factor of personal initiative, and reminded the trainees to maximize their contribution.

Indicating that the efforts so far made to strengthen information technology were satisfactory, he called for the proper use of computers allocated to a number of agricultural offices in the sub-zones.

The trainees on their part reaffirmed readiness to apply the knowledge they had acquired.
