Hospital officials in Nakaseke District are worried of the leaking roof in most wards and broken windows that continue to expose patients to mosquitoes, coldness and other risks.
The hospital medical superitendant, Dr Emmanuel Mukunya, in an interview with the Daily Monitor yesterday, said the long awaited plan by the government to renovate the facility is long overdue, with most staff struggling to use cardboards and pieces of cloth to shield the patients from the night cold and leaking roofs.
