Nigeria: Man Charged With Forging Document to Get Speaker's Help

A 46-year-old man, Sulaiman Yakubu, was arraigned before an Abuja Chief Magistrates' Court for allegedly using a forged document to gain assistance from the Speaker, House of Representatives, Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal.

Police prosecutor, Adoche Osenya, told the court that on July 5, the accused, a resident of Gwagwalada, Abuja, went to Tambuwal's office at the National Assembly Complex, with a letter of introduction.
