Every Tamuno, Dike and Hadi knows that the African concept of marriage entails two people of opposite sex. Boy loves girl, man marries woman, they become father and mother; in time they become father-in-law and mother-in-law and then grandparents. That is how it has been since the beginning of time. Many other cultures share this concept of marriage with us, indeed most of the world does.
But there are exceptions. Some people insist that they have a right to go against the norm by getting involved in same sex relationships. I do not grudge European and American citizens their right to make laws that reflect their philosophy of life. But it is fraudulent of them to pretend that there is anything universal about their homosexual sickness or that the right to practice sodomy is one of the human rights guaranteed by the UN's Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR).
