Chairman House Committee on Science and Technology, Rep Abiodoun Akinlade, has expressed willingness to take biotechnology to grass root to acquaint the rural folks who are mostly farmers of the benefits of the new farming technology in Nigeria.
Rep Akinlade while leading the members of the committee in a courtesy visit to National Biotechnology Development Agency (NABDA) in Abuja said "we are closer to the people at the grass root, we know their feelings and we know what they want".
