THE ZANU-PF conference unanimously endorsed the staging of fresh polls in 2012 to bring closure to the coalition government, described at the indaba as dysfunctional.
The staging of fresh elections, which have the effect of terminating a marriage of convenience entered in February 2009 between ZANU-PF and the two Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) formations, was on top of ZANU-PF's demands.
