About 1,000 people in Ngomoromo in Lokung and Agoro sub-counties in Lamwo District are being retained in their former IDP camps following the discovery of several landmines planted in their original homes during the LRA insurgency.
The worst affected areas are those formerly used by the rebels as bases and exit routes to South Sudan.
