South Sudan: Country Asks for 763 Million Dollars From Donors

Juba — The Chairperson of the Relief, Rehabilitation Commission Duer Tut Duer on his arrival from Geneva yesterday at Juba Airport said that they had proposed to donors to raise the amount of 763 million dollars to meet humanitarian needs in South Sudan in the year 2012.

"We have attended a consolidated field process which is organized annually worldwide in relation to funding requirements for humanitarian actions of which international non-governmental organizations, united nations agencies, beneficiaries and donors meet to present achievements and challenges faced in meeting humanitarian needs", said Duer.
