Zimbabwe: Gamblers Fall Prey to Bogus Lottery

SCORES of Zimbabweans and thousands of Africans may have fallen prey to a bogus international lottery that reportedly swindles unsuspecting people of millions of dollars every year.

The syndicate is a copycat of an existing lottery - EuroMillions - run by about nine European countries. It sends letters to its targets informing them that they have "won" astounding amounts in a jackpot draw.
