Nigeria: No Crisis in LP, Says Chair as Senator Defects to ACN

Akure — Labour Party Chairman in Ondo State, Barrister Olu Ogidan yesterday described the statement of a senator representing Northern Senatorial District of the state, Senator Ajayi Borrofice, that he left the party because of protracted crisis rocking the party as a great fallacy. Borroface made the statement at the occasion of his defection to the ACN recently.

Rather, Ogidan noted that the reason Borrofice left the party was as a result of his plans to challenge Governor Olusegun Mimiko in the governorship race in 2013.
