Nigeria: Bayelsa Labour Unions Condemn Subsidy Removal

Yenagoa — The Bayelsa State Chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) yesterday condemned the Federal Government's action over the removal of subsidy from petroleum products, saying that the decision was already causing hardship for people in the state.

NLC's state chairman, Mrs. Ebiuowou Koku'Obiyai said the body is not happy about the development and as such would tomorrow (Wednesday) meet at its national level to review the situation before taking any further action.
