Nigeria: Employers Association Wants Organized Labour to Shelve Strike

Lagos — The Nigeria Employers Consultative Association has appealed to the organized labour and civil societies in the country to shun their proposed industrial action on Monday over the new increase in the pump price of fuel.

The President and Director-General of the Association, Uche Richard and Olusegun Oshinowo in a statement on Thursday said the need for the labor groups to sheath their swords beame necessary in order to allow them to objectively examine the various palliative measures the Federal government has put in place to mitigate the impact of the fuel subsidy removal.
