Tunisia: 10th Anniversary of Opening of Guantánamo Bay Detention Center - Prisoners Not Forgotten

January 11, 2012 marks the tenth anniversary of the opening of the detention center at the U.S Naval Base in Guantánamo Bay.

Five Tunisians remain in custody at Guantanamo, though most of them having been cleared for release by the US government. Reprieve, a British organization that works globally towards securing the release of Guantánamo detainees, will hold a press conference in Tunisia on Wednesday, January 11, to demand the release of the five remaining Tunisians in Guantánamo.
