Liberia: PUL Warns Journalists

10 January 2012

The Press Union of Liberia(PUL) has alerted the public to beware of individuals in the media masquerading with awards to raise money from their so-called honorees. The Union says its attention has been drawn to some journalists operating under fictitious names roaming about the city to entice people into their schemes. PUL calls on journalists involved with this unprofessional behavior to stop before they get exposed.

The Union urges the public to help discourage these fake awards in the society in order to protect those who legitimately deserve recognition.
