Kenya: Wetang'ula Promises to End Coast Marginalisation

Foreign Affairs minister Moses Wetangula ended his two-day campaign tour of the Coast promising to end marginaliasation and tackle low education standards in the region if elected president.

Wetangula spent the better part of the weekend traversing Tana River and Kwale counties. He said Ford-Kenya is the only party that will address the plight of the marginalized. "The party's manifesto speaks volumes about the problems that face Coast people. I will ensure that employment opportunities in the country reach everyone in the region," Wetangula told Pokomo elders at Tana Delta social hall in Tana River County where he was crowned a Pokomo elder.
