Maputo — The Mozambican Ministry for the Coordination of Environmental Action (MICOA) and the Eduardo Mondlane University (UEM) signed a memorandum of understanding in Maputo on Tuesday establishing the bases for university training of MICOA staff.
The memorandum, signed by Environment Minister Alcinda Abreu and UEM Vice-Chancellor Orlando Quilambo, formalizes and strengthens partnership in training environmental scientists and other staff, particularly those who will monitor the implementation of new mega-projects that arise in the country.
