Nigeria: FAO Boss Prioritises Global Eradication of Hunger

Few days after taking over, the Food and Agricultural Organisation (FAO)'s new Director-General, José Graziano da Silva, has disclosed that the total elimination of hunger and under-nourishment from the world would be his top priority.

Many countries of the world are currently batting with hunger and poverty and Nigeria is said to have over 70 million citizens going to bed daily with hunger in their stomachs.
