THE ANC's lavish centenary celebrations in Bloemfontein over the weekend turned out to be a 'bring and braai', with President Hifikepunye Pohamba apparently having to fork out for his own food, pots and cutlery.
Media reports in South Africa yesterday said that Pohamba, and other African heads of state, were left stranded without food, cooking utensils and glasses in houses in the Woodlands Hills Wildlife Estate where they stayed.
