Nigeria: Again, Protests Ground Economic Activities in Lagos

Business and commercial activities were yesterday virtually brought to a standstill on many roads and markets in Lagos as a result of the ongoing strike action embarked upon by various unions and civil societies in the country following the removal of oil subsidy.

When LEADERSHIP went round some communities, roads were turned into soccer fields by youths playing football as residents obeyed the stay-at-home order given to all Lagosians.
