Lisbon — The Angolan ambassador to Portugal, José Marcos Barrica, on Wednesday here called on Angolans to overcome challenges, with highlight on the 2012 elections.
On a message in the ambit of yearend greetings, the ambassador envisaged that the holding of the elections will be the most important political fact of this year and will enable the country and Angolans to consolidate their institutions, as well as the democracy.
Speaking about the Angolan community in Portugal, the ambassador underlined that he will do his best to help the consular services in Portugal that in 2012 will have hard tasks.
Under the various tasks, he said, the Lisbon consular services will issue soon important documents such as passports and identity cards.
