The Democratic Republic of Congo's influential Catholic church on Thursday urged the country's polling body to address "serious errors" in the counting of November elections or resign.
The electoral panel "should have the courage to put itself on the line and fix the serious errors.. that have dented the people's trust in the institution, or else resign," the National Episcopal Conference of Congo (CENCO) said.
