Nigeria: Protest - Aregbesola Proffers Solutions to Nation's Woes

Osogbo — Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State yesterday threw his weight behind the ongoing nationwide strike and protest by Nigerians against the hike in the pump price of petrol, insisting that true federalism and resource control remained the only way forward.

The governor who spoke at the Chief Gani Fawehinmi Annual Lecture/Symposium organised by the Nigeria Bar Association, NBA, Ikeja branch said: "There is nobody that can prevent Nigerians from protesting against what they believe will add more pain to them.
