Nigeria: Ex-Tanker Drivers' Chief Detained Over Gun Running

Kaduna — Soldiers at the weekend arrested the former Kaduna State chairman of the Petroleum Tanker Drivers (PTD), Comrade Nuhu Mohammed for allegedly stockpiling guns in his house.

Daily Trust gathered that the former PTD chairman was arrested around 1.am on Saturday by soldiers from the 1 division of the Nigerian Army, Kaduna. His arrest created pandemonium in Trikani, a suburb in Kaduna metropolis as hundreds of youth trooped out to protest.
