Two-time FA cup champions Gamtel have yet again added another trophy to their cabinet by claiming the super cup following their post-match 3-1 penalty shoot-out defeat of league champions Brikama United in a game played at the Serekunda East mini-stadium on Saturday. Regulation time ended in a 1-1 stalemate.
The game saw an early goal as the telecommunications boys took the lead in the 10th minute through Assan Ceesay who is fast building a reputation as one of the best strikers in the country. He jumped highest to head home the ball inside the Brikama box to give his side the lead.
