Nigeria: Customs Intensifies Checks At Borders Over Insecurity

The Nigerian Customs Service has intensified efforts in securing the northern borders, the leader of the Northern Zone of Customs Headquarters Anti-Smuggling Team, Chief Superintendent of Customs Gambo Azare has said.

In a statement, Azare said that to address the security challenges facing the country, both human, animals and vehicular movements across the Nigerian borders are subjected to thorough checks by the officials of the service.
