Nigeria: ACN Flays Sectionalising of Fuel Subsidy Debate

The Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) has raised alarm over the sectionalisation of the fuel subsidy removal debates, saying it is disturbed with the tacit government support for the divisiveness.

National Publicity Secretary of the party, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, said yesterday in a statement that the myriad of newspaper advertisements placed recently by several Ijaw and South-South groups and the inflammatory rhetoric from respected leaders in the region show that there may be a hidden agenda in some quarters to push the country to the brink.
