Nigeria: Ex-AP MD Denies Receiving N8.6 Billion Fuel Subsidy Fund

The former Managing Director of Forte Oil (formerly African Petroleum Plc), Mr Zira Maigadi has denied claims by the South- South Elders and Leaders that he earned N8.6 billion from the subsidy fund through his former employers.

Maigadi said in a letter to Daily Trust that he was neither the promoter nor a shareholder of the said Forte Oil, saying that mentioning him in the publication is faulty and malicious.
