Angola: Vice President in Chad for Eccas Summit

Ndjamena — The Angolan vice president, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos, arrived Saturday in Ndjamena (Tchad), to attend the 15th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of Central Africa States (ECCAS).

Dias dos Santos was welcomed on arrival at "Hassan Djamous" airport by Chad prime minister, Emmanuel Nadingar.

Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos is representing the Angolan head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, at the meeting that will discuss matters related to contributions to the regional organisation and circulation of people and goods in the region.

The summit will also review the report from the organisation's outgoing secretary general.
