Arusha — Agents who supply farm inputs in Arusha, Kilimanjaro, Manyara and Shinyanga regions are demanding Sh13 billion from the ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Cooperatives as outstanding payment for goods delivered.
On Saturday they confronted the permanent secretary in the ministry, Mr Mohamed Muya, who was chairing a series of meetings at the New Safari Hotel and insisted to be told when the government would settle the debt.
