Maputo — Mozambique's ruling Frelimo Party has announced that the celebrations of its 50th anniversary will begin on 3 February.
Speaking to reporters on Sunday, the Frelimo Central Committee Secretary for Mobilisation and Propaganda, Edson Macuacua, said the official launch will take the form of a rally addressed by President Armando Guebuza in a football field in one of Maputo's outlying neighbourhoods.
