Gambia: YJAG Executive Meets U.S. Ambassador

The new executive of the Young Journalists Association, The Gambia (YJAG) Friday met the US ambassador to The Gambia, Pamela Ann White, and the managing director of the Observer Company, Pa Malick Faye.

Speaking at the meeting with the US ambassador held at the US Embassy, Bekai Njie, the 1st vice president of the YJAG highlighted some of the achievements the Association has registered over the years, among them the convening of the climate change conference where environmental issues were discussed. He also highlighted some of the challenges the Association is confronting, which he said they were able to overcome with the support of the US Embassy and other partners.
