They only had one hour to conjure up a formidable side for a friendly match against the Africa Cup of Nations-bound Senegal on Sunday night, but Kenya's Under-23 team was happy with a slim 1-0 loss at the Leopold Sendar Senghor Stadium in Dakar.
Playing against their star-studded Senegalese opponents, it never showed for the Kenyan side as they took every missile that came their way, while occasionally making some counter-attacking runs into the Lions of Teranga's den.
