THE Democratic Party has declared it will not form a political alliance.
The party said over the weekend that it will field candidates for seats in the forthcoming elections. Speaking at Consolata Catholic Cathedral Hall in Nyeri town, secretary general Chris Murungaru said the party is not ready to lose its identity through an alliance. "We intend to strengthen the party and participate fully in the next general election. We don't intend to enter into any team up with any political party," said Murungaru.
