Nigeria: Labour Suspends Street Protests, Rallies

The leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC has suspended street protests and rallies just as it asks Nigerians to sit at home in continuation of its strike action.

In a statement by NLC Acting Secretary General, Owei Lamkemfa, said the suspension of street protests is imperative due to escalating violence and increased in security challenges.
