Egypt: Abdel Moez Ibrahim - Remaining Votes Counted in Favor of the Smaller Parties

Abdel Moez Ibrahim, Head of the Supreme Elections Committee, announced that remaining votes will count in favor of the smaller political parties to ensure their representation in the upcoming parliament.

The decision came to support political parties that were not able to win seats, he told Aswat Masriya, insisting that this will only apply to lists that passed the minimum electoral threshold of 0.5%.
