Egypt: ANHRI Bothered With Not Conjoining the Communiqué Against Ganzoury to the Cabinet File and Imprisoning Tareq Shams 30 Days Bending Investigations

The Arabic Network for Human Rights Information expressed today its deep disturbance for not conjoining the communiqué submitted to the public prosecutor to investigate with Prime Minister Kamal Alganzoury to the file of the Cabinet violence case, parallel with the decision made by the investigation judge to imprison Tareq Shams for 30 days bending investigation in the same case.

The two lawyers Mohamed Alghamry and Samir Elbagoury have earlier submitted a communiqué to the public prosecutor asking to open investigation with the Prime Minister Alganzoury with charges of inciting to and assisting in killing and assaulting protesters during the Cabinet sit-in in mid December 2011. Today, Elbagoury was summoned to Al-Sayda Zainab prosecution to be questioned about the communiqué he had submitted, but he refused to answer the questions and requested to be questioned by the investigation judge, who has all the documents related to the communiqué, and also demanded to conjoin his communiqué to the Cabinet violence case.
