Egypt: Mansour Hassan - Expediting Power Transfer Is Nonsense

Mansour Hassan, the head of the advisory council said expediting power transfer and holding Presidential election ahead of schedule is nonsense.

He said such kind of talking creates some sort of chaos.

He wondered how we can hold presidential elections before drafting the constitution.

He said talking about safe exit of the supreme council of the armed forces is strange as this means that crimes were committed but nothing of this has taken place.

He said we should thank the armed forces at the end of their job, referring to fixing a date for opening candidacy to the presidency.

He called on all political powers to act coherently in the coming stage in order to take the country to safety.
