The triangular fracas involving the "partisan and rented NDC press group", Attorney-General Martin Amidu and Deputy Information Minister Okudzeto Ablakwa threatens the unity of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), deepening existing cracks in the party.
Although the squabble, apparently catapulted by the still-hot Woyome saga, may not down the party at the 2012 polls, it "is very bad" because "it is Ghana which suffers...It is not good for business; it is not good for our international image," says Dr Vladimir Antwi-Danso, an international relations expert at the Legon Centre for International Affairs and Diplomacy (LECIAD).
