Egypt: Minister - Agreement Reached With U.S. to Support Local Economy Within Six Months

An agreement was reached with the US administration to provide an urgent support to the battered Egyptian economy within the upcoming six months, announced Minister of Industry and Foreign Trade Mahmoud Eissa.

In a statement, Eissa, currently in the US, said the plan involves increasing the volume of inter-regional trade and doubling investments, especially in the field of small- and medium-sized enterprises.
